Education for Second Class License

Education is a vital part of the mission of the Vermont Department of Liquor Control.  The Education Division helps bring training and seminars to consumers, businessmen, teenagers, parents, bartenders, store owners, and anyone else who needs to know about how to make sure alcohol is only used in safe and legal ways.

All sellers and servers of alcohol must be trained before they start working and then must be trained every 2 years thereafter.  Training is available through seminars conducted by our DLC educators as well as through our online training.  A Director/Partner/Owner/Manager who has already been to a seminar or taken the Department of Liquor Control online training can also train their staff using materials provided by the Department of Liquor Control.

Visit our Seminars page and find a First Class Seminar either of our formats - classroom or online.
