This page is your source of information about our liquor control seminars. These classes are taught by our experienced educators and give you the opportunity to interact with others in your line of work, plus you can ask questions of the representative of the Vermont Department of Liquor Control, Education Division.
Beginning July 1, 2016 our in-person seminars are $25.00 per person for 1st and 2nd class trainings and $10.00 per person for all other classes. You will be required to pre-register and pay ahead of time. Refunds will not be issued unless the instructor has to cancel a class. If you serve alcohol for a bar, restaurant, club, hotel, manufacturer, catered event, or bookstore/art gallery you are looking for a first class seminar.
If you sell alcohol or tobacco in a store you are looking for a second class seminar.
During licensing time (March-April) we also offer manufacturer/solicitor trainings.
Note that the seminar schedule is subject to change on a daily basis! If you can't find a seminar in your area, check back soon!
Please be prompt as late attendees will not be allowed.
Please don't rely on MapQuest and similar online mapping tools to find us; they usually direct you to the wrong Green Mountain Drive.
ANYONE WHO IS LATE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE SEMINAR.
