Product Descriptions: Cordials

Absente

Anise flavored cordial imported from France. Distilled in the tradition of Absinthe, which was banned in most countries in the early 1900's because it contained wormwood. Absente has the aromatic flavor, aroma and emerald green color of the original Absinthe without the banned botanical wormwood. Instead, Absente contains its less-bitter cousin Southern Wormwood. Serve mixed with water or with sugar and water using a slotted spoon. Wine Enthusiast gives it 94 points.
