The Vermont Division of Liquor Control is here to serve the public by preventing the misuse of alcohol and tobacco through controlled distribution, enforcement, education and by providing excellent customer service by operating efficient, convenient liquor agency stores. The division is responsible for the distribution of spirits through its 80 retail agency stores. Additionally, the Office of Licensing handles all licensing and permitting regarding the sales and serving of alcohol and tobacco in Vermont. Part of that effort involves Office of Compliance and Enforcement ensuring the compliance to laws and regulations in effect. The Board of Liquor and Lottery establishes the regulations around licenses and permits, oversees the business aspects of the department, and holds hearings on new applications and violations.
Reports are available regarding license applications, license holders, and suspended licenses. The Board of Liquor and Lottery hearing schedule and minutes of past meetings are also provided.
